Pitmaster Jimi JamesJimi James – Resident Pitmaster and Primary Food Columnist

This Pitmaster has held just about every job in the food world, and that experience translates into his recipes and sage advice.  Pitmaster Jimi James is a self-taught chef, baker, grill king, and pitmaster with over 35 years experience, and now serves as the primary culinary columnist here at Libidacoria Magazine.  In his early childhood, Jimi learned the basics of culinary chemistry from his two grandmas. With their help, Jimi was creating main dishes, sides, and desserts on his own at just 8 years old!

Today, Jimi is now the mentor.  The Pitmaster is always helping other aspiring pitmasters to create there own signature rubs, sauces, marinades, sides and desserts.

Now in the midst of his first book on how to BBQ and smoke, it slated for release as an e-book early spring 2015. As Jimi’s name has gotten out, other pitmasters are now challenging him to BBQ and grilling throw-downs and smoke-offs, so check his column often to see when he’s coming to your area.
